Greetings humans and humanoids, and welcome to TechCredo.com – the place where I get to live out my gadgetry nerdiness and indulge myself in the world of technology. This will not be a cell-phone blog per se, as there are already so many prominent ones available – but more of a resource, a clear overview of what the mobile Internet community has to offer. A lot of exciting things will happen in 09 on the wireless front, as both software and hardware will take a big leap forward, and I want to get in on the action.
There are naturally countless of websites about handsets, but not many which screen out the debris and summarize only the state of the art, the top of the line: gadgets worthy to Get Geeked Out about. My main ambition with this site is to keep track of the most interesting devices, platforms and software solutions emerging in the world of cellular phones today (since I am the autocrat of this site, the compilation will of course be subjective) and let you view it all from one place.
I read several mobile blogs on a daily basis, and the main focus of this effort will be Top Phones, where I list what have managed to catch my attention: high-end phones with great specifications. Simply put, I will try to provide a convenient way to easily find information (videos, images, specifications, rumours, previews and reviews) about the most exciting and promising new phones, as well as software recommendations and comprehensive guides on how to get the most out of your device.
Since my current phone is an Xperia X1 (not my premiere choice, I might add), there will be plenty of tutorials on how to optimize and tweak the hell out of Xperia/Windows Mobile. I hope to offer some insight both for beginners and tech savvy power users. The Internet has been fine-combed by a technology junkie searching for his next fix: from forums, blogs, to indie open-source developers and software giants, and I will try to share all the good stuff I’ve found.
If your idea of pornography is drooling over cell-phone specifications and hands-on videos, then this definitely is the site for you!

Thanks for the kudos! The HTC Snap seems like a pretty nice device, I especially like the full QWERTY keyboard. But only 2MP for a cell-phone camera is way below average these days, and it doesn’t have a 3.5mm headphone jack. A non-touchscreen device that has *everything* is Samsung innov8 (http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_i8510_innov8-2471.php), which I actually considered buying for a while.
Lovin your website, really informative and entertaining. I was wondering, You seem to like touch screen phones, but what is your opinion on smartphones, esp. the HTC Snap?
