Here’s a collection of various 8-bit and retro pixels wallpapers, several of which feature the world’s most recognized Nintendo protagonist: Super Mario. Many of these 8-bit inspired backgrounds look quite nice as homescreen wallpapers on Android phones. Bearded Super Mario, wooden Mario, and this platform are my personal favorites.

It apparently took 1500 hours of playing with lego to create this clip – that’s eight hours a day for six months (a bit frightening, don’t you think?). The ending result looks great though, and the chiptune is pretty good too. Check it out.
