8-bit Super Mario and retro pixels wallpapers

8-bit Super Mario and retro pixels wallpapers

February 18, 2011

Many of these 8-bit inspired backgrounds look quite nice as homescreen wallpapers on Android phones. Bearded Super Mario, wooden Mario, and this platform are my personal favorites.

eBoy Pixel Art Wallpapers for Android

eBoy Pixel Art Wallpapers for Android

July 21, 2010

I’ve stumbled upon eBoy’s pixel art from time to time on the interwebs, but I’ve always thought it looked too busy – at least to be used as Android wallpapers. However, when tinkered with, they look great. Engadget’s Joshua Topolsky is apparently a huge fan, and the first thing he does whenever he gets a [...]

Retro Oozing Bitpop Video

Retro Oozing Bitpop Video

It apparently took 1500 hours of playing with lego to create this clip – that’s eight hours a day for six months (a bit frightening, don’t you think?). The ending result looks great though, and the chiptune is pretty good too. Check it out.
