I’m not entirely sure what to say about this feverishly dancing Android and its mighty moves, but seeing is believing. The title of the video on YouTube is “Android on crack…lol”, and it’s pretty descriptive. I can’t stop laughing watching this clip – it’s wonderfully offbeat.

Karoshi was previously only available as a Flash game for PCs, and as such, it has received quite a lot of praise. One of my favorite magazines, Wired, had Karoshi Suicide Salaryman on its list of the top 5 PC games in 2008. Since yesterday, we can now enjoy this beautifully offbeat platform puzzle title […]

Motorola has turned Apple’s classic 1984 big brother ad against them with these promos for the world’s first Honeycomb tablet – the Xoom. Motorola’s message is obvious: now there’s a more powerful alternative to the iPad, and Apple has almost become the Big Brother of the dystopian George Orwell novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, that Apple showed […]

These two concept devices appeared during or shortly after CES in early January 2011, and are somewhat old news by now, but I wanted to share them nonetheless. Many promising concept devices never materialize, because financiers couldn’t be found, the projects weren’t deemed commercially viable, or because the designs were too far ahead of current […]

TechCredo isn’t about bringing the latest news; it’s more about documenting and listing the coolest things in mobile technology – the truly innovative stuff, stuff that’s impressive enough to even geek out a hardened tech geek. Such as the recently revealed Motorola Atrix superphone running Android that also can serve as a desktop and netbook […]

Almost two years ago, when even Android 1.5 Cupcake hadn’t been released yet, Russian über phone insider Eldar Murtazin labeled Android 2.0 “pretty sad”, but version 3.0 of the platform “fantastic”. Apparently, Eldar dropped those comments after having viewed closed demos of Honeycomb as it looked back then at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. […]

The MIUI Team, which I nominated for “Android Person of the Year” at Androinica, has just released a strikingly professional promo video of the latest rendition of their custom Android ROM. The version number of each MIUI release is based on the date it was made available, so v12.31 will be released on the final […]

During the past year, the commercials for the Droid brand of Android phones have done a great job promoting Google’s OS to the general public – in America perhaps even more so than Google itself. I have personally been pretty impressed by several of them, and I remember that I was very intrigued by the […]

There are already many superb games for Android, and there’s no doubt in my mind that it soon will become one of the world’s greatest mobile gaming platforms. One can only imagine what the games will look like when they can be powered by devices with dual-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon processors, 4.3 inch screens and […]

A feature that was introduced in Android 2.1 is live wallpapers, and they debuted on the Nexus One back in early January 2010. Live wallpapers are basically animated, interactive homescreen backgrounds that can behave differently depending on the time of the day, where you are, Internet updates, and how you move and touch your device. […]

Ninjas, stop-motion animations, the Nexus One… This must be the best unboxing video since the Samsung Omnia (if not the best ever). Do I smell viral marketing? You can read more about the Google Nexus One at the Top Phones section.
